Gin Bottle - Illustration, 2017 - The Crosby Elixir Co.

This was one of my first professional commissions. I was with a friend drinking in a bar which was at the time called Hard Times and Misery and I overheard the owner discussing his plans to create his own gin. Upon hearing this I eagerly leaned over the bar and said something to the effect of “So you’ll need an illustrator, then?” and the rest is history. The design is friendly and honours the surroundings that the gin was created in, as well as the proud distillers. Seeing this bottle mass produced and on shelves around Liverpool gave me a huge confidence boost and I remember this job fondly.
